Lose Weight without Dieting


For today, I’ll be sharing with you 3 simple nutritional tips for you to lose weight without dieting or starving. Me honestly, I do not believe in dieting but don’t get me wrong! They work, but they only work usually for a period of time. When you go on a diet, what tends to happen is that for example when you go on a liquid diet, you are losing weight, exactly but did you know that what you are losing is not your fats instead these are just the liquids and muscle mass. Come to think also, are you gonna be doing the liquid diet for the rest of your life? Of course, not! It’s not good for you as well. Everybody knows how to eat healthily. When we talk about healthy eating the first thing that comes to our mind is that you have to make sure that your plate is full of green salads, eat protein, don’t eat your cravings and eat with limits but what about eating right? Eating right is a key to losing weight and I have here 3 simple tips for you.

The key to remember is that we want our blood sugar level to be stable. When it is stable, our body starts breaking down fats and we won’t be craving any sugary food at the same time.

Tip #1: Meal Intervals

Always keep in mind that your first meal, which is your breakfast, should be done within the first hour as you wake up. After that, continue eating for every 3-4 hours. You read it right! yes yes yes! Eat frequently dear! That should be about 5-6 meals a day, but take note that you should only eat small portions but frequently and the last meal of the day should be conceived 2-3 hours before you go to bed and make sure that you are only eating protein and fat and not carbohydrate. You should always feel right to eat every 3-4 hours. If you are not feeling hungry after 3-4 hours, the best thing you can do is to eat half of what you’re supposed to eat and if you’re not hungry after the next 4 hours, eat a quarter of the meal. What is important is you have to eat every 3-4 hours every day.

Another thing, meals, and snacks are the same.There’s no such thing like I need to have this for breakfast and that for lunch, no. As long as you eat properly with the proper portion for every 3-4 hours, it’s okay.

Tip #2: Nutrition Ratios Per Meal

What this means is that in every meal you should be considering your protein, carbs, and your fat. Protein is equal to fish, tofu, eggs where else carbohydrate refers to not just rice, not just bread but also all your vegetables. There are other diet programs out there where they want you to cut your carbs but no! If you eat too little carbs, what happen is that your body will start storing fat and will stop burning fat and we don’t want that to happen. On the other hand, if you eat too many carbs, your body will store too much fat at the same time and it will reduce your energy level so, the key is to eat the right nutrition ratio per meal. And what is it? Protein and carbs should be eaten at the same ratio while fat should always be the lowest. Balance your nutrition ratio so your body will get the essential nutrient that it needs and therefore you will maximize fat burning.

Tip #3: Calories Per Meal

If you are eating so frequently, you shouldn’t consume a lot of calories per meal. For women, the best that I can suggest is to consume about 250-350 calories per meal while, for men, you can consume about 400-450 calories per meal. Well, it depends on your activity level. If you are a very active person regardless of the gender, obviously you need to consume more calories but if you are not doing a lot of work or any movements, try to stick to the guideline. That includes your protein, carbs, and fat. Too many calories consumed increases fat storage and reduce your appetite on the next meal while too little calories consumed will lower your sugar level, therefore, you will start craving sugary stuff and trust me whenever you see something sweet, you will grab it without even thinking. You should be satisfied after each meal to know if you ate the right calories per meal.

So there you have it, guys! The 3 main points that you should always practice in order for you to lose weight fast. If you can incorporate this into your lifestyle, why not?
